Rescue

Our range of specialist rescue courses are designed to give candidates the ability to retrieve personnel who get into difficulties whilst working at height. This is particularly important where a casualty is hanging in suspension and must be evacuated rapidly - before the effects of suspension trauma take hold.
An effective rescue plan should be a prime consideration when planning any work at height operation.
Our courses run from basic awareness through to advanced training. Rescue courses are often incorporated as part of a work at height course. In addition to training courses we offer the full range of consultancy services in all matters relating to the rescue of personnel.
Working at Height
Falls from a height are the single biggest killer in industry the world over.
Imminent legislation is set to address this by demanding a more stringent approach to the planning and management of work at height operations, including the training and qualification of personnel engaged in these activities.
Fall Factor Zero offers a range of top quality courses designed to raise the awareness and competence of personnel who work at height. Clients can choose from our range of standard courses, or courses can be tailored to meet the demands of specific industry sectors and client requirements. In addition to training courses we offer the full range of consultancy services in all matters relating to work at height.
Rope Access
Training courses and independant assessments are run to either IRATA (international), or SPRAT (North American) Standards. Both standards consist of three levels of competence.
The entry level of each system is no pre-requirement for experience. In order to move up through the levels the individual is required to have a certain amount of logged experience as well as attending a 5-day course and passing an independent assessment.
In addition to training and assessment we offer the full range of back up consultancy services to companies who are, or wish to be, a member of either association.
